Recording Information
Ode to Billie Joe and Midnight Train To Georgia were recorded in April 2010 and feature Frances Knight – Piano and Em Peasgood – Vocals.
Everything I Do Gohn’ Be Funkier is an old Allen Toussaint Tune (Everything I Do Gohn Be Funky) re-arranged by Em for Emily and the BEATS Duo. The track features special guest Brendan Power on the Harmonica and Beat Boxing, Paul Smith on Guitar and was recorded in June 2010.
All Ladyfunk tracks were recorded from March – September 2009 by Dill Katz, Vanessa McGowan and Em Peasgood featuring Em Peasgood – Vocals / Flute, Yazz Ahmed – Trumpet, Josephine Davies – Saxophones, Hilary Belsey – Trombone, Nadia Sheriff – Keys, Bridget Mermikides – Guitar, Vanessa McGowan – Bass, Corrina Silvester – Percussion and Sophie Alloway – Drums.
Acustica were Em’s first Jazz ensemble, recorded in 2005 by Julian Jackson. Featuring Em Peasgood – Vocals, Ross Stanley – Piano, Julian Jackson – Bass and Richard Barr – Drums.
